About the Project:
“SATELLITE JVD Project” is a one-time Japanese voice drama project, with the scope and aim of creating a voice drama (or also known as “radio drama” or “drama tracks”) with a simple video visual of the pilot chapter of the story, SATELLITE. The project's language will be in Japanese, while communications with the cast and staff will be mostly in English, or Japanese if requested.
About the Story:
“SATELLITE” (衛星) is set in a far future where technology-aided labor and artificial DNA programming made it possible to give birth to a new generation of talented individuals on the other side of the human civilization called the “New World'' (新世界). These children are bearers of a talent called MINUS that differentiates them from the surface civilization called the “True World” (実世界). The pilot story starts years later after the merging of both worlds and follows the adventure of the three trainees in the U-Satellite branch, who were in the middle of discussing the results of their interim evaluation when the emergency alarm blared throughout the base. They find themselves running to find a way to escape the trouble.
